Here's something most recruiters won't say out loud. A recruiter's reach stops at the banks they hold a contract with. Skip the contract, skip the bank.

That cuts out nearly every bank over $100B in assets, and a lot of the large regionals too. Those shops hire 100% in-house. No agencies, no headhunters, ever. So when a recruiter says they'll take you to market, they mean their market: the banks paying them.

Career Sherpa flips that. You're paying me, so I work for you, which means I can look everywhere. Any bank, any fintech, any size, anywhere.

How I work

Two things you should know up front. I won't shop you around, and I won't tell you what you want to hear if I think you're about to make a mistake.

And the honest answer to the obvious question: banks pay me to run searches, and you'd be paying me to guide your move. I never take a fee from both sides of the same hire. If your search leads to a bank that's already my client, I'll tell you, and your success fee comes off. The coaching and the assets are yours, clean, with no one paying me on the other side.
